My thoughts on tonight's RAW, I loved it. I think RAW is getting better and with ECW now the inside competition, I think all effort will go to RAW. Like most fans, I am losing interest in Smackdown.
Randy Orton on RAW is great, I think he will bring a new bad guy atmosphere to RAW, that is over due. Specially since HHH will be returning to DX and become a fan favorite again. (A side note I love HHH. I think he is RAW.)
Kane Vs Kane, I am so confused, who is this second Kane? I wish I knew, I hope we find out at Vengeance.
Mr. McMahon gives a weak State of the WWE address. He looks like the President sitting behind a desk, but his address was weak and turned into HHH vs the Spirit Squad. I thought we were going to learn about the State of WWE, the championship belts (with one going to ECW). I thought we would learn about the future of Smackdown. I figured he would mention that the RAW and Smackdown magazines have merged back into one WWE magazine. I like this its more cost effective for me as a fan.
Candice Michelle vs. Torrie Wilson in a wet and wild water contest. Balloons, buckets of water, and water guns were all part of this match, with both Divas wearing white outfits, but what happened with Torrie wearing a bra? There is no bras during a wet t-shirt contest, I know it is because they were on live TV, but damn. Anyway great match for us guys. Torrie won and will be the on the Cover of the Summer WWE mag.
My favorite match of the night, "THE RETURN OF DX" Mr. McMahon was punishing HHH, for last week when HHH PEDIGREED Mr. McMahon instead of kissing his ass. This week HHH had to go through a Gauntlet Match with all 5 members of the Spirit Squad. HHH held his own and kicked their ass for a while, until four members out number HHH and they got the best of him. They were going to use the chair and take out HHH's knee like they did to Shawn Michaels, but Mr. McMahon stopped them and told the Spirit Sqaud to break his neck instead. Then he stopped them again and called the last member of the Spirit Squad Mitch out, who was still back stage. Mitch got thrown out by YEP none other then Shawn Michaels. This lead to on of the best RAWs in a long time as DX was born again. Shawn Michaels and HHH kicked the Spirit Squads ass then threw their DX signs at Mr. McMahon and HHH mooned Mr. McMahon. This was great, I was pumped during this and the feel of wrestling is coming back.
My favorite all time wrestler made his return on RAW, he is the Nature Boy, Ric Flair. I love Ric Flair ever since I was a little boy and I watched him live for the first time, when he wrestled Rufus R. Jones.
But tonight I felt like crying as my hero is looking sooooooooooooooo, woooooooooooo old. However, he pissed Mick Foley off and Foley challenged Ric Flair to a 2 out of 3 pin falls wrestling match at the next PPV "Vengeance."
I am really starting to like Edge, I don't know why but I like the bad guys. The worse they are the more I like them and Edge is turning out to be a damn good bad guy. I hope he wins the belt, because him being the world champ will work.
